Project "Yantra" is an experimental project that explores how robotic design can model natural creatures through rhythmic behaviours.
The robot's structure was connected by the delicate texture of the laser-cut material, similar to the natural systems of defensive shells and other skeletal forms. The underlying mechanism drives the whole machine to move in a rhythmic pace, while the motor accelerates in terms of the reducing distance between human and machine, as being nervous when facing uncertain environmental changes. The moving mechanism is also stimulating the sound at various frequencies.

The project namesake "Yantra" is a geological diagram derived from Indian religions, exploring the spirit and energy of nature.
